Recalled electrical products to watch for

Every product below is under a formal recall by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission — a known fire or shock hazard, usually with a free manufacturer remedy attached. For a business, a flagged product can also mean a failed inspection or a shutdown until it's replaced. Here's what to look for and what to do about it.

This page is general safety information, not a legal determination. It covers CPSC recalls only — plenty of older equipment is a known hazard without ever having been recalled, so nothing here says your gear is fine because it isn't listed.
